Spend the summer in beautiful Duxbury, MA, about 45 minutes south of Boston. The Duxbury Bay Maritime School has one of the largest summer sailing programs in the country, teaching nearly 1,000 students a year with a staff of 30 instructors


Limited on campus housing is available for some qualified candidates.

Junior Program Director

The Duxbury Bay Maritime School seeks a Director for its Junior Sailing Program. Principal program components are a 9-week summer sailing program for 650+ children, including highly competitive, Opti, Laser, and 420 sailors, and a spring and fall racing program for the top-level Duxbury HS Sailing Team.

Responsibilities include program design and management, hiring and supervising instructors, marketing, and coaching. DBMS is a proponent of experiential learning and believes that its programs should foster the development of good citizens and good sailors. The position is full-time and year-round. Benefits include competitive salary, 75% of health insurance, housing, and 3 weeks vacation. Candidates must be excellent role models and teachers, have a passion for sailing, and have solid communications, leadership, and administrative skills. .
